The eight domains are defined by their placement in three characteristic categories: Accepting vs. Confronting, Social vs. Independent, Passionate vs. Logical. Every rune falls within a domain, except those associated with the Self elements, which are independent. Each domain consists of one archetype from each element, for a total of five archetypes per domain.
